The article looks into the stylistic devises which are used to create expressiveness in modern English Advertising. For that matter the advertisements extracted from a British news magazine The Economist and an American news magazine Time were carefully scrutinized. The stylistic devises that increase the expressive potential of the advertisements were under consideration since they create the advertising message that makes customers buy goods or services indiscriminately
