Abstract

An article deals with essence characteristics of subjects and objects of educational process at university. Innovations in the field of education are factors of the research competence. The main functions of research competence have been singled out. The analysis of a real practice of formation future teachers’ research competence has been presented. Teachers’ views who work at higher educational establishments according to importance of competency within activity of modern pedagogue have been analyzed.
