Abstract

In the article the author's understanding of the methodological basis of pedagogical diagnostics as a science and practice; describes psychological and pedagogical sources devoted to research outlined problems. The researcher determined the basic functions (estimate, communicative, constructive, information, predictive; feedback) and pedagogical algorithm for diagnosis. The levels of educational diagnosis (component, structural and system diagnostics, forecasting), analyzes the features of pedagogical diagnosis for personality-developing model training.
