Abstract

The author investigates aktypasyvni ratio in the old Germanic languages: Old German, Gothic, Old Icelandic, Old English.Autor proved that this type of relationship existed in different syntactic structures of ancient languages, but was not always possible to switch from active to passive state and vice versa. This was due to the following factors: the ability to verbs and transitional neperehidnosti and the actual intention of the speaker.
