Abstract

The reasonable corroboration of the more then 30 years (1975 – 2007) existence of northern isolated population of Mediterranean mite Typhlodromus beglarovi Kuznetsov, 1984 (Parasitiformes, Phytoseiidae) in Forest-Steppe of Ukraine (nearby village Kozin, Obukhov region, Kyiv district, Ukraine) is given. It is regarded as example of unpremeditated introduction of useful mite together imported plants
