Abstract

The dissertation is devoted to problems of the school literary education’s formation in Ukraine in 1918 – 1938. On the basis of system analysis the author has designated and proved three periods in the development of Ukrainian schools’ literary education, which have defined the structure of the dissertation work. By analysing of the school programs, textbooks, teacher editions the specificity of the literary education in years of 1918 – 1922; 1923 – 1932; 1932 – 1938 was formulated. The real contribution of the Ukrainian methodologists of this period to the development of the literature teaching methodology, which is a component part of the school literary education, was emphasized. The process of the literature development in the 1918 – 1938-s is proved to be complicated and not synonymous that was the results of the dynamic change in the pontaneoet political life.
