The problem of forming of emotional competence of special education professionals is presented in the article. The analysis of the literature, which shows that emotional intelligence is a necessary component of teacher preparedness for professional activity as a part of multidisciplinary team of inclusive institution is done. We suggest that the quality of the institution as an organization depends entirely on the effective activity of interdisciplinary team consisting of experts with developed emotional intelligence. The approach of Italian researchers Gabriele George and Vicenza Mayer for the study of emotional intelligence, which became the basis for the development of their organizational diagnostic test for emotional intelligence (ORG-EIQ "Emotional Intelligence Assessment," 2014) is presented. It is done a short description of the ORG-EIQ test, which consists of 99 questions that make up the four macro factors: self-awareness and self-esteem; self-management; social competence; relationship management. It is proposed to use this test to study of emotional intelligence of teachers, including teachers, speech therapists of inclusive schools.
