Abstract

The paper analyzes efficiency of using active methods learning in process of teaching students in higher educational institutions. Established that to improve the quality of learning theoretical disciplines it is necessary to focus on innovational teaching methods. These methods activate creative activity of students during solving tasks. Identified the ways of introduction active learning methods in preoperational process of specialists in physical culture and sport on the basis of their application during teaching the discipline «Theory and methods of physical education». Proposed the introduction of active learning methods and practical trainings during studying of the following courses: «researching methods in the theory and methodology of physical education», «means and methods of physical education», «regularities of forming funded adaptation in the process of physical education», «development of physical qualities», «concept of planning, its types and content», «features of teaching methods with special medical groups», «physical education in armed forces of Ukraine», «adaptive physical education», «modern sports and wellness technologies in physical education». Proposed to involve students in discussions at lectures and seminars and lead practices on the bases of schools, researching laboratories and specialized educational institutions. Lecture material on the topics «regularities of forming funded adaptation in the process of physical education», «concept of planning, its types and content» and «physical education in Armed forces of Ukraine» it is appropriate to apply as binary lectures. Lecturer of biomedical courses and lecturer-methodist of pedagogical practice should be involved to these lectures. Proposed introduction of practical and researching tasks for implementation independent work of students. Participation in practical lessons will allow to increase the effectiveness of students’ adaptation to conditions of future professional activity. During the execution of researching tasks, students can conduct research and present results of their own research at scientific conferences. This will give opportunity to increase level of students’ knowledges and educational quality of university which prepares teachers of physical education.
