Abstract

The article presents the interpretation of the concepts “tendency” and “tendentiousness”, which are given in dictionaries, glossaries, encyclopedias. It is found out that “tendency” is defined as a development in a particular direction, but “tendentiousness”— as a bias. In studies of higher education bias is shown in the author’s position on the selection and interpretation of tendency and tendentiousness of its development. Thus a system of higher education is in a state of permanent development the author believes it is necessary to research tendencies of its development to implement correct structural analysis based on a combination of dialectics capabilities and performance
