Abstract

The emergence of vocal-instrumental ensembles (VIA) in Ukraine was preceded by two main cultural trends: the formation of rock and roll USA and the specifics of the development of musical art in the USSR. In the 1950s and 1960s, a new stage in the formation of the stage music repertoire began, differing from the previous significant changes in the genre composition, functional features and means renewal. The popularization of modern pop music at this time is significant contributed to the development of television, the improvement of musical sound recording and sound reproduction techniques, electromusic instruments
