Abstract

The pre-categorical constructions (hereinafter referred to as SPCs) in the Old Germanic languages are represented by various types of predicates, characterized by structural diversity, specific lexical content, various methods of morphological expression, and wide stylistic use. Predictions of the state include such specific values as physical, emotional, mental, intellectual (mental) states, state of perception, state of being (locative state, state of existence / non existence, state of presence / absence), etc.
