Abstract

The article outlines the main theoretical approaches to determining teachers' readiness for innovation. The main components of the teachers' readiness for innovation are highlighted, an expanded model of competences of the teacher-innovator is presented and methodological recommendations for the development of the indicated competencies of teachers are being offered.
