Abstract

This article analyses gender-term psychology of Boris Grinchenko’s novel «Sister Galya» («Sestritsa Galya», 1885) and Andrey Platonov’s novel «Semion» (1936). The analysis is carried out in a comparative aspect. The gender approach is used to supplement the traditional interpretation of this works by disclosing other levels of their meaning and B. Grinchenko’s and A. Platonov’s creative manner and biography. It is established that we can call both novels more connected, than we used to think cause both implement close storylines.
