Abstract

The article defines the meaning of the term ‘acmeological competence’, which is characterized as a multicomponent creation, providing the future teachers’ orientation to professional self-development, achievement of their own acme in their professional activity. The basic components of acmeological competence are identified: the motivational value component (focused on achieving the professional acme, understanding the value of knowledge and acquired qualifications); the cognitive component (knowledge of computer science, acmeology and selected specialty); the procedural and activity component (skills for continuous learning; professional and pedagogical skills); the personality-reflexive component (characteristic, individual-psychological and reflexive-correcting skills).
