Abstract

The relevance of the study is to look at the studio recording from a new angle. Purpose: help author to young singers in the art of recording phonograms based on many years of practice. The main ones are listed problems that await the young singer in this field of activity, and ways to solve them. The article is written in in the form of advice to young singers and involves studying the experience of leading masters of the stage. Works of leading sound directors and performers are processed, the generalized conclusions are resulted. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the look at studio recording from a new angle. Many articles and publications have been written about the subtleties of sound engineers. The singer's studio work is not enough covered and needs to be studied. This article reveals the main stages of work on the phonogram and psychology communication of the singer with the staff of the studio. This article will also help the young singer in choosing a studio and sound engineer, to understand what is included in the salary, in the creation of a new phonogram and more. It is stated that if a sound director works more with dance music, he may not know the peculiarities of recording and compiling academic works and vice versa. Therefore, when you listen to his work in the right way for you style, you will have a better idea of ​​his professionalism in your music field. Note whether the vocals sound natural. It is noted that the sound engineer who is recording you for the first time does not know your voice and may think that you always sing the top notes with tension. Each phonogram should sound good both in whitewash and on a large area, in the car or in headphones. Moreover, different phonograms should not differ in timbre or volume. All these stages of creating phonograms belong to the work of sound producers and sound directors. Work in the studio for the singer is one of the most important functions in his creative career, so it is extremely important to help him in this new and unfamiliar to him. This area of ​​activity is little studied and needs further coverage.
