Abstract

An overview of knowledge of plant-inhabiting predatory mites of the family Phytoseiidae has been performed based on literature data. Established, that species complexes of predatory mites in natural cenoses are different by quantitative composition from acarocomplexes of secondary phytocenoses in arboretums and botanic gardens. The role of plant-inhabiting predatory mites of the family Phytoseiidae in conservation of species diversity of plant in secondary cenoses under anthropogenic stress on plant association is emphasized.
