Abstract

The thesis is devoted to the problem of formation of teenagers’ readiness for understanding in out-of-school educational establishments. In the paper the theoretical principles of forming teenagers’ readiness for understanding are generalized, the essence of the notion „readiness for understanding” is specified. Out-of-school educational establishments’ potential in the context of the issue under research is revealed. The efficiency criteria of formation of teenagers’ readiness for understanding; corresponding indices and levels of their manifestation are defined. A model is developed for forming teenagers’ readiness for understanding; pedagogical conditions of the process are substantiated and experimentally tested.
