Abstract

The article describes the "phenomenon of children's book for adults" that have dual readership.Among these books author considers the book by James Matthew Barrie about a mysterious boy named Peter Pan.The article contains a review of creating the story of Peter Pan and characteristic of the image of Peter Pan as a complete form of the myth of childhood. Author analyzes the so-called" Peter Pan syndrom" ,which is actualized in recent times.
