Abstract

e paper considers works of foreign historians devoted to research and analysis of information policy of Nazi German and Soviet Union during World War II and Great Patriotic War in the matter of 1) essence of propaganda of National and Socialist party in Germany and Bolshevik Party in the USSR; 2) process of formation of public opinion of population of Germany; 3) mechanisms and means of influence on population of European nations which territories were occupied by enemy forces; 4) some aspects of social-political and social-economical life in the USSR which population was occupied by German troops; 5) character and significance of partisan movement during World War II
