Abstract
Improving information tools automatically causes the same changes in the defense mechanisms. And this applies not only technology, but also information technology. It is such a word would like to designate the new sphere that has developed in recent years. It is based on a variety of methods of work with mass consciousness, it allows you to program certain actions that are based on the use of the protest of people. Information warfare theory argues that modern conflicts are deployed in four related areas of human existence: physical, information, cognitive (rational) and social. The decisive effect achieved unidirectional all these elements. Below, we consider that there is a major component in the information war.
