Abstract
In the memoirs of Volodymyr Antonovych his student and follower Vasyil Lyaskoronsky, a representative of the Volodymyr Antonovych Kyiv Documentary School, which occupies an important place in Ukrainian historiography and represents Historians of St. Volodymyr University School, shares with a deep respect his impressions about Volodymyr Antomovych’ kind-hearted relations with students, Teacher’s devotion to social and scientific ideals, highly appreciated lectures and scientific discussions of scholar, his sincere help to students in their scientific studies, the delicacy in evaluation of their knowledge, his farewell speech to graduating students to live and work for the public benefit of family, community and country. Teacher’s image, the significance of his influence on the motivation of students to study Ukrainian history and on the professional formation of generations of Ukrainian historians in creating them as conscious Ukrainian leaders are researching in the article.
