Abstract
The article tackles the peculiarities of the WAR concept's verbal representations in European linguo-cultural framework. Etymological premises of the concept's designations have been considered. The article highlights basic conceptual models responsible for integrating the said phenomenon into corresponding world-views. Lingual units are analyzed in regard to the key pints of epistemological relativity and myth-oriented semiosis theories.
