Abstract
Informational interchange that has been a distinctive marker of the present-day mankind's cultural model involves transferring and interpreting data encoded within the framework of basic irrational patterns traditionally associated with myth. Furthermore, modeling alternative worlds in texts of different genres and historic periods has implemented mental and verbal construals that refer to the so called fuzzy entities. Vague parameters of the said entities, strategic patterns of the over-system (sacral sphere) projected onto the empirically known reality and largely incomprehensible in terms of conventional logic, contextually shifting sets of objectives pursued by scenarios' participants, as well as tools used and routes chosen by the latter allow speaking of enigmatic phenomena (EP) as inherent constituents of conceptual and verbal worldviews. Variable properties of systems' components and diverse trajectories of their interactions and transformations contribute to the multitude of alternative realities accessible via lingual codes. The article considers etymological, linguo-cultural and semiotic features of designation units representing EPs in Indo-European languages. The article highlights the idea that EPs follow the universal pattern of the over-system - system - subsystems' interaction and suggest a respective taxonomy of Es. We also present a formal algebraic pattern of transformational scenarios. The pattern reflects dynamic parameters of scenarios' participants and variable trajectories of scenarios' unfolding. The article highlights verbal representations of EPs and expands the myth-oriented semiosis theory as a means of creating worldviews and alternative worlds.
