Abstract

Inversion is treated off as open systems' dynamic restructuring or "tuning". The said process that triggers shifts in interpreting and verbal representing of the world, as well as in creative activities and forming cultural patterns is considered from the standpoint of linguo-cultural studies, linguo-semiotics and interdisciplinary universalia studies. Therefore inversion is regarded as a transformation which reflects various modes of semio-sphere, the latter being identified as an energy-informational field. Mythic space's cyclic migrations within the framework of conceptual worldviews are approached as the basic type of inversions. Verbalized "contrary" and "reprofiling" inversions are tackled via the systemic-hierarchical unversalia model while semantic and functional criteria are also employed in the analysis.
