Abstract
In this paper we explore the scientific biography of L.G. Frizman, Doctor of Philology, Professor. We consider his work as a philologist, a specialist in Russian literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and a political publicist who defended the position of democracy and humanism. It is noted the longstanding teaching work of L.G. Frizman who created the philological school of academic specialists in Russian philology.
