Abstract

The article is devoted to the рphenomenon of corporeality in the works of literary generation “The Executed Renaissance”. In the article is determined that the Ukrainians writers of the 1920s, the members of literary organization “The Link”, represented the original conception of corporeality which is based on spiritual and physical unity. In the Ukrainian prose of the 1920s . the body is interpreted as a sign, which indicates clueless person in an unfriendly world to him. Corporeality interpreted with both the biological and social laws of life. The writers drew attention to the link of sensuality and thought, "body consciousness". Psychoanalytic theses of Z.Froyd about action subconscious instincts, neuroses, fears are realized in the works. The concept of physicality is interpreted in the context of the phenomenon of death.
