Abstract

In the article the problems of the organization and work of rehabilitation centers in Ukraine are analyzed. Particular attention is given to the complex rehabilitation of the antiterrorist operation participants; it requires modifications and improvement of the existing rehabilitation centers and creating new multidisciplinary rehabilitation centers. The characteristic of the typical rehabilitation center, types, tasks, legislative documents regulating the rehabilitation centers activities is presented. It is noted that the full development of the rehabilitation services modern system in Ukraine is inhibited with underestimation of the rehabilitation activities role, including physical rehabilitation methods for recovering patients’ health, disabled people and military operations participants. The author stresses the unified model multidisciplinary rehabilitation centers should be developed and implemented at the state level in Ukraine
