Abstract
The article explains the classification status of LIFE as a Ukrainian linguocultural dominant. The organization of conceptual space of concept is considered. The ways of updating of specific ethnic axiological component in its semantic structure are defined. The conclusions of the anthropocentric dimension of the concept of life and a special existential status of concept in Ukrainian linguistic culture are maked.
