Abstract
In the Ukrainian field of fiction we can see two main opposite tendencies: pro-european, which connects it with worldwide globalization trends and opposite one, which stresses the ethno-national identity. This text deals with diversity of this first tendency in regional sub-fields. Also literary canon is taken into account, readers’ tastes and preferences and opinions of authors of fiction about their own identification in the national and world literature spaces.
