Abstract
The aim of the course is to prepare students for the organization and conduct independent scientific research on social problems. The course involves the formation of students' knowledge on: 1) the general characteristics of scientific research; 2) procedures for scientific research; 3) methods of social research; 4) presentation of results of scientific research. Based on this knowledge the students will be formed ability: 1) define the logic of the study; 2) work with primary sources, using theoretical methods; 3) organize the process of social research; 4) develop questionnaires, tests. 5) to issue findings.
