Abstract
The paper discusses the thesis that the social-humanitarian sciences should have their own mathematical apparatus. Specific examples illustrate that the most effective and appropriate mathematical tools for these industries are the theory of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. Also the need of a systematic approach in research is argued. On this basis the provision of the formation of the research competencies of the system analysis and using the mathematical apparatus of fuzzy sets in the educational programs of the social-humanitarian specialties of the universities (philosophy, sociology, economics, management, etc) is proposed. Based on a systematic approach and applying the mathematical apparatus of fuzzy logic some problems are considered: the economic law of the interaction of capital, the central principle of fuzzy physical economy, multicriterial assessment of the professional competence of the university teacher.
