Abstract
The dissertation is devoted to the intertextuality forms research in the French modernistic prose. The stages of concept of intertextuality in contemporary literary criticism was analyzed in this work; the sources and forms of intertextual communication in the French prose in a diachronic section were defined; the intertextual analysis of A. Gide’s works as iconic and demonstrative for the early and mature modernism periods in the French literature was first held, based on this typology of forms of intertextuality was proposed. Typology was improved, such forms was added: nonfiction elements and the subsorts of forms of intertextualid as a commented or uncommented reference, headlinesrebuses, author’s genre definition etc. A further development was the concept of traditional themes, motifs and images, including their interpretation and transformation in philosophical aspect of French modernism.
