Abstract
The thesis focuses on the study of cognitive and communicative features, and verbal means of arrangement of compositional-speech form "Description of Interior" in English language. The thesis highlights the role and place of descriptions of the interior in English literary discourse and provides the method of their research within cognitive and communicative paradigm of linguistics. The research defines structural and semantic types of descriptions of interior, describes frame structure of the intra¬textual fragment and outlines its conceptual space in terms of English culture. The thesis investigates the ways and means of predicative organization of intratextual descriptions of interior in terms of temporal, modal and personal networks, reveals the algorithm of use of simple and complex syntactic structures and describes linguostylistic peculiarities of their language arrangements.
