Abstract
The dissertation, on the basis of theoretical analysis of the problem, proposes the definition of self-presentation as a behavioral component of personality structure in which individual aspirations to create desired and at the same time adequate to social situation image of his own "I" in perception of others in the process of interaction and communication with society are implemented. The essence of personality’s effective self-presentation and its level (effective, sufficient and ineffective levels of self-presentation) are defined. Socio-psychological, individual-psychological, bio-psychological conditions of formation of effective self-presentation are outlined. The organizational and methodical principles of the diagnostic research of the efficiency of self-presentation of future psychologists, personality qualities which determine self-presentation, personality self-presentation strategies and tactics are illustrated. A comparative analysis of intergroup differences on the basis of the criterion of the level of efficiency of self-presentation is conducted. The dynamics of changes (within three years) of personality qualities which determine self-presentation of future psychologists is analyzed. Psychological portraits of participants with different levels of effective self-presentation are presented and compared with the requirements to the profession of a psychologist. Psychological measures of optimization of future psychologist’s effective self-presentation were developed.
