Abstract
The article deals with the formation of «women's history» as the research trend in the United States. Priority attention is paid to the perception of the American experience by Ukrainian researchers, as well as to the forms and methods of assistance of public and academic institutions of the US to the establishment of gender Studios in the independent Ukraine.
