Abstract
The purpose - formation of a system of concepts, knowledge and skills in the field of history of religions. Task: - Disclosure portentsialu phenomenon of religion as one of the possible means of identity formation; - Formation of representations about the features of the emergence and development of religions past and present; - Providing the necessary conceptual apparatus to guide the religious situation in different historical periods; - Define the role of religion in culture phenomenon; - Understanding of the characteristics of the formation and development of the religious environment in Ukraine; - Analysis of the historical ethno conditioning processes in today's globalized world - Tolerance towards religious heritage of mankind.
