Abstract
The problems on correlation of ethnopsychological concepts for ethnic consciousness and national consciousness are exposed. Different theoretical and methodological directions for researches of ethnic and national consciousness are analysed. It is found out that ethnic consciousness is historically the first form of national consciousness.
