Abstract
The peculiarities of the language cumulative function as the means of the cultural and historical information perpetuation. The notions of a word, the language cumulative function, its manifestation in the sphere of lexicon, the connection between history and language culture are researched, and the explanation of national and cultural connotations connected with the perception and denotation of different words are explained as well.
