Abstract
The article describes the activities of literary intellectuals who remained in the occupied territories and under the Nazi regime continued to work and work. The principles of objectivity and historicism require coverage literary space during the Second World War, revealing the full picture of literary and poetic potential of Ukrainian artists. Through their works poets and writers tried to show their own vision of the situation in the occupied territories to highlight the everyday lives of ordinary Ukrainian maintain patriotic spirit among the local population and its desire for freedom. The works of the literary intelligentsia encourage the disclosure of the full picture of the tragedy of World War II, and therefore require further research
