Abstract
The article is attempt to analyze the main aspects of contemporary art, positioning itself as revolutionary one, and the art of the classical Avant-garde, recognized as the artistic revolution at the beginning of the last century. It examines evolution of art development from Impressionists experiments when artists refused realistic manner through Post-impressionism, analytical Cubism, Neoprimitivism, alogism, and finally abstract art. It briefly characterises contemporary (actual) art tendencies and attempts of phylosophical justification of the ideology of contemporary art.
