Abstract
The potential of students’ academic (educational) work as a mean of of future teachers’ axiological attitude to the profession formation is presented in the issue. Scientific and theoretical analysis of the literature on the study has been done. The essential characteristics of axiological attitude to the profession have been identified. The axiological attitude to the profession is an important factor for the success of any professional and educational activities, their integral component. The educational work as an active purposeful activity integrates physical, mental and moral powers of a man; it creates certain value, satisfies vital needs and helps to overcome difficulties. The process and the result of academic work are associated with the essence of professional activity, form its value and personalized meaning.
