Abstract
The article discusses various approaches to the definition of the nature of values and their classification. Considering the category of values, we provisionally classified them into four groups: the moral, personal, social, material. Based on the theoretical analysis, the authors have given a definition of children’s subculture as a system of norms, attitudes and values inherent in the children’s community. The model reflects the influence of the adult world culture subculture of childhood and childhood subculture – in the system of children’s values. Substantiated the thesis that values form the core of children’s subculture, they form it and are formed under its influence.
