Abstract
The main types of foresight scientific and technical development studies conducted in Ukraine are listed. It is concluded that, despite the multiplicity of options for such development, its directions, along with other factors, are limited to the financial support of the production of innovative products, whose component is determining the necessary volumes and objects for investment. The method of selection of types of innovative products as an object for investment is described. For such a selection, a list of priority critical technologies and innovative enterprises for the region is assessed, investment risks are assessed at different stages of the production of innovative products, calculated discounted income and risk prices, and they solve the problem of optimal allocation of investments by product types and enterprises, taking into account the discounted income of the price of risks.
