Abstract
The theoretical aspects of the problem of forming the leadership qualities of the future preschool teacher in the process of professional training in the conditions of a higher educational institution are considered in the article. The analysis of scientific approaches, the disclosure of the essence of the concept of «leader», «leadership», «leadership qualities», revealed the features of their formation. The components of the formation of the leadership qualities of the future preschool teacher are considered, namely: the theoretical component, organizational, practical and value-oriented.
