Abstract
On the basis of archival sources and scientific literature is reproduced the biography and diplomatic activity of the famous politician, the first president of Greece- I.Capodistria. The attention is paid to the formation of his political views. The activity on the post of the statesman of the Republic of the Seven United Islands, as the State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Russia is analyzed in this article
