Abstract
The article proposes methodical support for the preparation of future teachers for the realization of continuity in teaching the description of children of 5-6 years of age. Its essence lies in the understanding by future specialists of the meaning and significance of the further progressive development of the language skills of preschoolers to produce descriptions; understanding of the essential and formal-structural features of this type of monologue. Further formation of verbal skills on this basis is appropriate to select the exact language means for conveying the characteristics of the described object, to objectify the description as a unit of language, to exercise reflection and control over the speech of peers in the form of a description that, on the whole, ensures the development of communicative and linguistic skills in children. In the methodology, the leading pedagogical conditions are defined, the stages (communicative-enriching, cognitive and reflexive-cultural-creative) are singled out, communicative, linguistic and reflexive content of teaching is described. Methods and organizational forms and means that ensure the realization of continuity in the teaching of children of six years are described and optimized.
