Abstract
The theoretical problems of forming the skills of scientific and pedagogical research are investigated. The normative documents concerning the implementation of scientific and pedagogical activity have been analyzed. The experience of the experiment on the development of projects and the writing of research papers by schoolchildren for a contest of defense in the Small Academy of Sciences is summarized. The result of the research was the proposed systematic approach to the formation of skills in the conduct of scientific and pedagogical research. The aspects of cooperation with beginning scientists are singled out during the writing of scientific works.
