Abstract
The article deals with the issues of the modernization of the educational process in the structure of the training of a specialist in musical and aesthetic education, the teacher of musical art, through an intensification approach to the selection of vocal and pedagogical repertoire in the context of the creation of "cross-cutting integrated" individual student programs. New principles of approach to the selection of individual educational programs of students are revealed, new methods of organizational forms of teaching are used, which would intensify the formation of professional vocational competencies of future specialists. The purpose and ways of implementing the modernization of the educational process in the class "Voice" in the context of new approaches to the selection and use of educational vocal repertoire in the conditions of university music education are scientifically substantiated. The analysis of scientific researches and publications on the mentioned problem was made, the conclusion that vocal-technical skills and abilities are assimilated first of all during the performance of vocal and pedagogical repertoire, that the creation of so-called individual "cross-cutting" programs of students gives an opportunity to intensify the educational process.
