Abstract
The article elucidates grammatical features of the abbreviation "PR" ("public relations"). The main alternatives are the use of this abbreviation as 1) masculine singular; 2) plural. Relevant linguistic literature is analyzed. The degree of every abovementioned grammatical option presentation, in the use of this abbreviation in scientific, educational and commercial texts is investigated, to determine the most popular option. Also content analysis of the texts, written by the students from the university course on the specialty "Advertising and public relations", is done. The best grammatical option for the abbreviation "PR" is determined.
