Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of problem issues in the study of uncounted sentences. The attention is paid to the urgency of studying syntactic structures of this type in view of the specificity of their qualifications and the absence of exhaustive theoretical and practical developments in this direction. The historiography of the study of non-articulated sentences is closely traced, the main scientific concepts are outlined and the ambiguity of scientific approaches in the description of the indicated units is noted. It has been found out that in the field of view of non-articulated sentences came from the end of the 19 century— beginning of 20 centuriesin the context of the study of other language categories. At the present stage, scientific studies are distinguished by a selection of different criteria for the determination of non-articulated sentences, in particular, it concerns the morphological expression, their status, principles of termination, structural-semantic, formal-syntactic and communicative features. It is revealed that the most common morphological marker is particles, modular words, exclamations, and less common parts of the language. The status of non-articulated sentences is determined, which in linguistics theory is based not more on quantitative-structural, but on semantic-syntactic and functional indicators, which fix modal values of assertion, negation, confirmation, etc. Non-articulated sentences appear as indissoluble syntactic structures, in which there are no pronounced subjective predicate intrasacrificial ligaments. Non-articulated sentences have fuzzy semantics due to specific formal-syntactic forms. Communicatively, these are communicative units that demonstrate the implication of the expression of information content, taking into account their contextual positions. In addition, a number of terms have been analyzed for the designation of syntactic structures of this type. In the future, we see the attraction of more research institutes specialized in this direction with the reinforcement of illustrative material for more thorough research of non-articulated sentences.
